The award winning Island Rooftop is located on level 1 and is rapidly setting the scene as the Gold Coast’s favourite open-air rooftop bar. Featuring an extensive cocktail and food menu the Rooftop is the perfect place to unwind under the Gold Coast sky. 

The Rooftop is open from 4pm Thursday and from 12pm Friday to Sunday. 

Located on the ground level, Vegas Gaming Lounge is the newest and most exciting gaming lounge on the Gold Coast – featuring forty of the latest gaming machines including the wildly popular Lightning Link and Dragon Links. 

Vegas Gaming Lounge is open from 10am to 5am daily. 

The Island Gold Coast currently offers an à la carte weekend breakfast at Goldie’s on the ground floor, Saturday & Sunday from 7:30am – 10:00am.

Your guest room is equipped with a remote control (to operate the air conditioning) which can be found in the desk drawer. Please keep the temperature between 22-24° for optimum comfort and efficiency. Should you need any assistance please contact Reception.

Check out is before 11am. If you require your luggage stored post checkout, please contact Reception and we will store your luggage until your final departure. For Express checkout simply drop your key in the box at Level 1 Reception.

A dry cleaning service is available daily from Monday to Sunday. Items delivered before 10am will be returned the following day. Express service is also available at an additional cost. Please see Reception for further details. 

In case of an emergency, please contact Reception and notify our staff. Leave your room, closing the door behind you, and use the stairs to reach the nearest exit. There is an emergency evacuation plan on the back of your room door for easy reference.

In addition to the rigorous safety and sanitation measures already in place at The Island Gold Coast, we have implemented comprehensive COVID-19 related protocols, which both disinfect and further limit opportunities for cross-contamination. Should you need any assistance please contact Reception. 

If you require housekeeping to change your towels please either call Reception on 8000 by midnight the previous day or place the housekeeping sign (found on the desk) on the external door handle by 9am the morning of.

Limited on-site parking is available to all in-house guests in the secure basement levels at a cost of $25 per day and is subject to availability. Additional paid parking can be found in Bruce Bishop Secure Parking located on Beach Road, adjacent to the hotel.

The swimming pool and spa on the ground level is open for guests between the hours of 7am – 9pm. A pool deck food and drink menu is available for enjoying poolside. 

The following applies to all guests using the pool area: 

No diving please – max pool depth is 1.9 metres

Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult 

Please do not wear any footwear in the pool

Appropriate swimming attire must be worn

No glass or crockery

Your guest room is equipped with a safe to store your personal belongings and valuables. The safe can be found in your wardrobe. Operating instructions can be found in the safe.

For your safety, we have detectors in this room which will activate and alarm should they be tampered with or smoke be detected. In the event of an alarm activation from this room, a fire management fee will be charged to your room.
