Christmas Day Family Buffet

Enjoy our traditional Christmas buffet, brimming with the freshest hot and cold seafood, tender roast meats, seasonal vegetables, vibrant summer salads, and decadent desserts—something for every palate, big and small. Beverages will be available to purchase from the bar throughout the day.

Christmas Day Penthouse Buffet & Beverage Package

Soak up panoramic views of Surfers Paradise from The Island Penthouse this Christmas. Enjoy a festive buffet of fresh seafood, traditional roasts, seasonal vegetables, salads, sides, and desserts, paired with a three-hour drinks package including Mumm Marlborough Prestige Sparkling, premium wines, premium beers, Christmas sangria, watermelon spritz cocktails, soft drinks and juices. Tickets are limited.

Tickets $239 + booking fee, all-inclusive. Every ticket includes the three-hour beverage package.

FAQs

Will my group be seated together? Yes, we will be seating your group on your own table. If your group is purchasing tickets separately, come up with a catchy table name between yourselves, then include this table name in the field provided at check-out.

Can you cater to my food allergies and dietary requirements? We always do our best to cater to your food allergies as long as you include them in the field provided at checkout. We may not, however, be able to cater towards all food preferences e.g. keto, low-carb, low sugar. We have provided this field at check-out for people with food allergies only.

Do you have parking? Affordable secure paid parking available at Bruce Bishop Parking, which is adjacent to the Hotel. View the carpark and rates on their website. Please ensure you arrive in time for the start of your sitting.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? The Glasshouse Family Buffet is all ages. The Penthouse Buffet is 18+ only and there is only one ticket level available with the inclusion of the beverage package.

What’s the refund policy? Please note that we do not allow refunds for any reason. Any changes or updates to your booking must be provided 72 hours prior to the event commencing.

It’s time to prepare for your annual Bavarian blow-out. Celebrate the world’s biggest beer festival over one colossal day of stein wielding revelry at The Island Glasshouse and Deck — AKA the Beer Hall and Wunderbar Terrace. With a fine selection of Bavarian beers on tap, schnapps and smorgasbord of food stations, you’ll be primed for the live oompah band — hand and thigh-slapping gestures are highly encouraged. We’ll be hosting plenty of fun games and you might even win a prize! And of course, we expect nothing less than your finest Lederhosen and Dirndl dress.

General admission $15 + booking fee. The Glasshouse will be set as a beer hall. Seating is available on a first in best dressed basis. Food and drink will be available to purchase throughout the day.

VIP Beer Hall $149 + booking fee. $139 for 6+ Guests. Includes allocated priority seating with a three hour food and beverage package between 12pm – 3pm.

  • Shared Bavarian Board of bratwurst, smoked pork, gouda cheese, sauerkraut, pickles, mustards and pretzels
  • Bavarian smoked brisket sliders
  • Roasted pork knuckle served as a main dish
  • Drinks: three hour package of premium Bavarian beers, schnapps cocktail jugs, premium wine and softdrinks.

Can you cater to my food allergies and dietary requirements? We strive to accommodate food allergies. For the VIP ticket, include dietary needs at checkout. Note: We may not cater to all preferences (e.g., keto, low-carb, low sugar).

Can you seat my group together? Allocated seating is available only for the VIP ticket. If purchasing tickets separately for this ticket, create a ‘group name’ and include at checkout to ensure your party is seated together. General admission tickets have unallocated seating; arrive early to secure a spot.

How do the food and beverages work for the event? A variety of beers, wines, cocktails, and soft drinks will be available throughout the day, along with food stations offering a range of delicious options for purchase. The VIP ticket consists of a three hour food and drinks package and is only available between 12pm – 3pm.
